Random Thought!

I was thinking about the article some more and the more I thought about it I realized that online dating is like sitting on the same side of a booth at a restaurant... unacceptable

Sorry, just thinking out loud

  1. I just absolutely do not agree with you AT ALL. I've dated lots of guys, and my boyfriend right now and I actually met on MySpace. He added me when he saw my page, we had mutual friends. He's not only the best guy I have ever dated, he's the best guy I know. We talked online for 2 weeks before meeting in person. If it wasn't for MySpace, I'd probably be dating some Jersey freak from Lehigh...so...although online dating might seem "unacceptable" to you, it's a nice alternative for people like me; People who find it difficult to get to know a guy when he's just trying to take you home...Sorry, just thinking out loud ;)

  2. And sitting on the same side of the booth is fine by me, as long as you move once you get your food!

  3. I agree with Sarah on both fronts. And i have to ask you...why so unacceptable? What is it that you think is invalid, or inferior to a real relationship.

Given, I don't think it is ideal to have a completely virtual relationship, but I'm having a hard time grasping why meeting someone that way is unacceptable...

  4. If you knew me you would understand... to each his own! If it works for you thats cool with me! No disrespect intended I wish you and your boyfriend the best.

  5. Lol, agreed with Maxie. We were speaking online for 2 weeks before we met, and now we continue a long distance relationship in which we plan visits to see eachother..I don't really see how that is "unacceptable." But you're right, to each his own. What is your reason for not being on MySpace or Facebook? It's 2009! My mom's on Facebook! Jk, I respect your opinion.
